Amber Edwards, Director
I started my career in the childcare industry right out of high school. Because of my experiences as a young mother, I knew that I wanted to work with children in my career too. I began in the After-School Program, soon transitioned to a Toddler classroom, and then received a promotion to Assistant Director. After three years as Assistant Director, I was offered the challenge of being Director. I absolutely love being a director and the different challenges the position brings on a day-to-day basis.
I am on the Advisory Board for West Georgia Technical College Early Childhood Care and Education, where I enjoy being able to share my passion for education in young children throughout the community. I am scheduled to graduate this fall with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I have been married for seven years to my husband, Taylor, and we have three daughters together.

Alycia Clark, Assistant Director
Hi, my name is Alycia Clark. I am currently the Marketing Director at Mirror Lake Academy. I am a mother of 3 boys ages 10, 8, and 6. I have worked in early childhood education for 9 years. I am very dependable and dedicated in everything I do. I love to motivate and encourage others. I have always loved working with children and helping others reach their goals. Once I became a director, I feel I became a life changer. In my opinion, once you take on a leadership roll, you have the power to impact the lives of others.
My goal is to always make the best impact possible. I have learned in my 9 years of experience in early childcare that the first 5 years are the most important years in a child’s life. I get incredible joy seeing the difference I make as a child gain new insight on new ways to learn. Every day I plan to help mold the future for a better view and understanding through their little lives.
